👏🏼 We had an excellent turnout for this morning’s parkrun with a number of locals & quite a few people visiting the Island from Adelaide.

🏃🏻‍♀️ A couple of people were running their very first parkrun (definitely not their first run though!)

🏊🏼‍♀️ If you’re keen to find out what the fuss is all about, come along & join us at 8am on Saturday morning, near the tidal pool (go for a dip afterwards ☺️)

☕️ Don’t like running? Easy! You can walk it or become an invaluable volunteer. Time keepers, barcode scanners, and marshalls are all very welcome! Reward yourself with a coffee at a local cafe afterwards (please note this coffee is self funded!)

💻 Want to register to keep a record of your runs & volunteering? Jump onto the parkrun website www.parkrun.com.au and receive your barcode (bring with you & have it ready to scan at end of run).

🌍 There are more than 2800 official parkrun events in 23 countries around the world! The distance is 5km - the start time can vary so double check when visiting a different event.
