Kingscliff Boardriders Club was founded in 1963 and is a family oriented club focused on creating a friendly environment for surfers of all ages. Membership is available to all surfers, all ages, Male and Female, and competitive divisions in the club include;
U/10’s (parent assisted)
U/12’s
U/16 Cadets
U18 Juniors
Open
Masters

Club rounds for all divisions are held on the 2rd Sunday of every mont

h (except January), meeting 7:30am at the Southern end of the Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club car park. This venue can be moved, determined by conditions on the day. We regularly compete against other Boardriders clubs in the Kirra Teams Challenge, Straddie Assault, Surftag, Australian Boardriders Battle and interclub challenges with other local and interstate clubs.

We are heading into the back half of the year and have a few epic dates to add to the KBC calendar!

📆 Book a table for our big Surf Night at the Kingy Hotel - lots of prizes, giveaways, surf movie, band and meal deal! Some special surf star guests will be there too!
📆 club rounds are tentative and will depend on conditions

- All hands on deck for setting up please 🙏
- Also need help in the judging tent today so come judge a heat or two before you surf - head judge is there to help!

🏄Calling all of our 12-18 groms!

We are going to run some weekly coaching sessions with Carti starting next week leading up to the Kirra Junior Teams Challenge - September 4 - 6.

COACHING: WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS 3:40pm - 5:10pm (potentially at Dbah)

The Junior Team format for the BOYS is as follows:
1 x 12 years and under
2 x 14 years and under
2 x 16 years and under
2 x 18 years and under

(Under as of 7 September)

GIRLS format is
1 x 14 and under
2 x 16 and under
2 x 18 and under
2 x Open women

Anyone keen to be selected in the Boys Junior Team will need to attend the Wednesday coaching sessions and the team will be selected based on performance at the training sessions and club rankings.
