🌟💙 20 YEARS OF INCREDIBLE VOLUNTEER SERVICE! 💙🌟

It was wonderful catching up at Tweed Valley Hospital with Marie Gaardsted, who was recently recognised for an amazing **20 years of service with the Tweed Hospital Auxiliary. 👏🎉

Marie has volunteered through the years at our old Tweed Hospital and now continues that same dedication at our magnificent new Tweed Valley Hospital. 🏥❤️

Well done, Marie! You are a shining example of what community service is all about — giving your time, energy and care to help others. I’m incredibly proud of you and everything you have contributed to the Tweed community. 🌟🙏

A huge thank you also to all the wonderful volunteers of the Hospital Auxiliary. Your fundraising, commitment and countless hours of service make an enormous difference to our hospital, our patients and our wider community. 👏💙

OUR CURRENT TREASURER IS ABOUT TO RETIRE AND WE HAVE NO ONE TO TAKE ON THE ROLE
SOME INITIAL GUIDANCE WITH STREAMLINING AND SYNCHING OUR CURRENT SYSTEM (XERO) AND OUR POINT OF SALE SYSTEM, PREPAIRING MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

We don't mind being runners up to the Australian Seabird & Turtle Rescue Organisation in the recently finalised round of the Chindy Cares Program! Very happy to receive $750 from Managers Michael and Jackie of . Receiving our cheque on Friday at the gift shop TVH are Auxiliary members Larraine, Janet and Chris along with the GM of the hospital, Graham Guy. THANKS Shell Chinderah Bay and all those in the community who placed a token or two for us. More funds to go towards our purchase of items for the hospital.

FIVE DAYS TO GO AND WE ARE CLOSE TO WINNING $1500 in the CHINDY CARES GIVING PROGRAM.
As of last Friday we were in 2nd place (see photo of containers at Shell Chinderah Bay)

How you can help: call into Shell Service Station at Chinderah to buy your fuel or other essentials between 8th May and 3rd July, ask for some tokens to place in the container(s) of your choice – hopefully the Auxiliary’s ... and help us win 1st prize of $1500. T

Come into Kingscliff Shopping Village today, or next Monday to meet some of the Tweed Hospital Auxiliary members. We are here running a recruitment drive, showcasing how we raise money to buy medical equipment and other items that benefit patients and staff at Tweed Valley Hospital. We are keen to sign up new members who are willing to volunteer their time and effort to support us in our work.
