We’re open tomorrow 12-3pm, if you’re looking for something different to do on a cold wet Sunday then we have you covered.
Come and visit the Heritage Centre and give yourself a treat, look around our little 1914 restored post office , she holds a treasure trove of history and then step into our large museum full of tales to tell.
We also have a wonderful variety of books, giftware and souvenirs to purchase.

Come and take a step back in time and visit our restored post office, she’s been around since 1914, survived 3 fires, been moved from one end of Kinglake to the other and has some stories to tell.
Open this Sunday 12-4pm at Kinglake Heritage Centre, visit our museum full of history and our little museum on display in the post office.

We’re here again today at Kinglake Rotary Market, 10am -2pm. Come and say hello and have a look at our new range of giftware, books and memorabilia we have for sale. We also have a wide range of hand knitted beanies and scarves, only $10 each.
Pop in on your way home to the Kinglake Heritage centre and have a tour of the newly restored original Kinglake Post Office, open from 12-4pm.

A big thankyou to all who attended our official opening of the restored original Kinglake Post Office.
Kinglake Lions Club restored the post office then handed over the keys to Kinglake Historical Society today, to be custodians of the building.
Open every Sunday 12-4pm to come and have a look around our museum of Kinglake history and also to to tour the original Kinglake Post Office

Come and join us this Sunday 17th may between 1.30 - 4 pm to help celebrate the finished restoration and opening of the original Kinglake post office.
Take a step back in time and wander through this historic building and enjoy looking through our museum of Kinglakes history in the heritage centre, and finish off with some delicious afternoon tea.

Official opening is Sunday May 17th at kinglake heritage centre, 1.30 - 4pm.

This building, dating from 1914 so now 112 years old, has had a very interesting history - in fact, a charmed life, having three times escaped being burnt down when buildings beside it were destroyed. Its other claim to fame – it was arguably the smallest PO in Australia!
