Kingaroy Landcare Group aims to improve South Burnett watercourses and water quality by removing environmental w**ds and demonstrating methods of controlling gully erosion and how to increase rainfall infiltration into pasture land. To achieve this the group works closely with other community groups and local government. Kingaroy Landcare Group uses a range of techniques to maintain and improve th

e South Burnett environment. To improve water quality and flows in local watercourses, w**ds including Chinese Celtis, Broadleaf Privet and Cats Claw Creeper have been targeted using biological control, physical removal and chemical means.
