📣 Volunteer Opportunity – Public Relations (PR) Role-Albany Scout Group
The Albany Scout Group is looking for a passionate and creative volunteer to join our Group Support Committee as our Public Relations (PR) Coordinator.
Now, let’s be honest — “Public Relations” is just a fancy way of saying you’ll be the person behind our page, helping us tell our story and showcase the amazing things our Scouts get up to each week!
What you’ll be doing:
Creating and posting content to our public page on a weekly basis.
Promoting our activities, events, and achievements.
Helping us attract new youth members and volunteer leaders.
Keeping our community informed and engaged.
What we’re looking for:
Someone with a couple of spare hours each week
A creative mindset and a knack for writing engaging posts
Experience with Facebook (or a love for using it!)
An interest in supporting local youth and community programs
You don’t need to be a Scouting expert — just someone enthusiastic who enjoys sharing stories and making a difference behind the scenes.
