It's term 4 time at Japara and that's super good news, but there's a bigger issue we need you to settle for us - Digital or good old fashioned Paper?

Di is voting for digital but I think you just can't beat the real thing - what do you think?

Let us know in the comments below, and oh yeah - the program is available now in both formats with heaps of great ways to get involved. Grab the link in the comments and see what's on at Japara, and if you're Team Di on this one, you can find the link to join our mailing list in the first comment below!

Last chance to have your say!

There are just a few days left to read our Draft Domestic Animal Management Plan 2027–2029 and tell us what you think.

The Plan looks at how we can:
🐶 Support responsible pet ownership
🏡 Keep our community safe
🐱 Support the wellbeing and management of cats and dogs
🌿 Respond to the issues that matter to our community

Earlier this year, we asked you what was important when it comes to cats and dogs in Yarra Ranges. We’ve used your feedback to help shape the draft — now we want to know if we’ve got it right.

🌐Read the draft Plan and share your feedback, by 24 September: https://shaping.yarraranges.vic.gov.au/domestic-animal-management-plan-2027-2029

We’re planning for a climate-ready future — and we’d like your final feedback.

Our draft Climate and Environment Strategy 2026–36 has been shaped by scientific advice and participation from more than 2400 community members.

The draft focuses on five goals for Yarra Ranges:
🟢 A climate-ready, net-zero emissions community
🟢 Protected, healthy water systems
🟢 A thriving natural environment
🟢 Resilient, connected and inspiring places
🟢 Leading circular economy action

👉 Read the draft, join a webinar, ask questions and share your feedback by 11 October: https://shaping.yarraranges.vic.gov.au/climate-and-environment-strategy-2026-2036
