The Killarney Recreation Club is seeking an enthusiastic community-minded person to step into the role of Vice President.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an active role in supporting our club, helping deliver events, and contributing to the future of KREC. You'll work alongside a passionate committee, support the President, and help ensure our club continues to thrive for our community.

No previous committee experience is required—just a positive attitude, a willingness to get involved, and a passion for our community. Support and mentoring will be provided.

If you've ever thought about giving back, developing your leadership skills, or helping shape the future of KREC, we'd love to hear from you.

🎹✨ Harmonies and High Tea ✨

We're delighted to share some photos from our recent Harmonies and High Tea event at the Killarney Senior Citizens Hall.

A heartfelt thank you to Jacob Bülow for his beautiful piano performance. His incredible talent captivated the audience and created a truly memorable afternoon. The music sparked cherished memories, meaningful conversations and a range of emotions, reminding us of the powerful connection between music, wellbeing and community.

The event also provided a wonderful opportunity for K-Life residents, families and community members to come together, enjoy each other's company and strengthen social connections.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank the Southern Downs Regional Council and the Queensland Government for their support through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF). Their support helped make this special event possible and enabled our community to enjoy a high-quality arts experience right here in Killarney.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success. 💚

🎹 Harmonies & High Tea – Coming Soon 🎹

K-Life and the Killarney Senior Citizens are excited to welcome acclaimed pianist Jacob Bülow to Killarney for a special day of music, connection and community.

The day will begin with a recital for residents at K-Life Residential Aged Care, followed by an afternoon community performance and High Tea at the Killarney Senior Citizens Hall.

This project aims to bring people together through the power of music, creating meaningful opportunities for social connection, wellbeing and community engagement.

We would like to sincerely acknowledge the support of the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) for making this event possible.

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Southern Downs Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
