🎶 A wonderful visit from Reunited at K-Life Residential! 💛

On Saturday, we welcomed the Reunited Choir for a performance that brought so much happiness and joy to our residents and staff.

Our own K-Life choir were delighted to be part of the performance too. Having something special to prepare for gave our choir members a shared sense of purpose and an opportunity to share their voices with others.

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the visit, with comments that they wished the performance had lasted longer! 😊

A heartfelt thank you to Paul and everyone in Reunited for sharing your time, talents and beautiful music with our K-Life community. We would love to welcome you back in 2027!

At K-Life Residential, we’re always building our skills so we can care for the people of Killarney and surrounds, right here in their own community.

Our team has now completed training to deliver peritoneal dialysis to residents who need it. This strengthens the specialised care we can provide, helping residents stay close to family, familiar faces and the community they love.

Several of our Registered Nurses even came in on their days off to take part in the training—a wonderful reflection of their commitment to our residents and each other. 💙

Thank you to our team for embracing this new skill with care and dedication. Behind every new skill are the people who benefit from it, and that’s what matters most to us.

We’re looking for a reliable, caring Cleaner & Laundry Attendant who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a difference in people’s everyday lives.

📍 Killarney
🕒 Casual position
💰 $30–$34 per hour

You’ll provide cleaning and laundry services at our residential aged care facility, along with domestic cleaning in our Community Care clients’ homes—helping older people enjoy clean, safe and comfortable surroundings.

✨ Join a friendly, supportive team
✨ Enjoy variety across residential and community care
✨ Make a meaningful contribution to your local community

Cleaning experience is valued, and we also encourage applications from people with a positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn. A current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered and insured vehicle are required for community work.

👗💚 October is Women’s Health Month at K-Life!

This month, we’re celebrating the women in our community and joining Frocktober to raise awareness and funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

At K-Life, helping locals live life better means supporting health, wellbeing and connection at every stage of life. It means making time for conversations, looking out for one another and helping people feel informed, valued and supported.

Our Frocktober celebrations will bring a little extra colour, happiness and joy to K-Life as we come together for a meaningful cause. We look forward to sharing the fun with our residents, staff, volunteers and community! 🌸

Everyone can get involved—frock up, start a conversation, support the fundraising or help spread the word.

Caring for someone living with dementia can bring many different emotions, questions and challenges.

K-Life’s Dementia Support Group offers a friendly and understanding place where carers, families and community members can connect with others who understand. Sometimes sharing experiences — or simply knowing you are not alone — can make a real difference.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
