Come on Kilcoy Region, let’s show the other 20 regional towns around Australia that are “pinking up” what we are made of!
Some of our wonderful local crafting ladies are already measuring up to decorate our town in a sea of pink for the month of October. The Galloping Grannies are also on the case. Can you help?

At around 11:15am yesterday, you may have seen a large number of rally cars arriving in Kilcoy. Welcome to the Dunga Derby!
250 of the “Dungarians” attended the Kilcoy Rodeo last night - all dressed as Mexicans. It was a sight to be seen.
These people are angels without wings - just maybe a taco on their head. 😜
They fundraise all year around then head off on a 4 day annual car rally to visit regional communities and support causes they deem worthy.
Their ethos is to “leave each community better than they found it”. The Dungas have been doing this for 12 years and have spread a huge amount of love and hope throughout Queensland.
Seems word has spread about our Pink Up Kilcoy Region.
We were very, very fortunate to be a recipient of their generosity last night. They donated $10,000 to Pink Up Kilcoy!!!!
This will certainly get us off the ground in our first year and repay all of those people who had faith in us and loaned us funds to get started.
We cannot express our gratitude enough. So if you see these guys in your travels, dig deep.
