In anticipation of our Championship Shows in October 2026, we are pleased to introduce our judges
TUIRE OKKOLA
I’m Tuire Okkola a long-time breeder of Staffordshire Bull Terriers. I started already very young, my family has had SBTs since 1966. I bred SBTs together with my mother Terttu Manner under prefix Jaramillos (1979-2006) breeding over 50 International Champions (C.I.B) and continued alone under prefix Rennam (2007-).
Today puppies of my latest litter, born 8.10.2025 (Ch Northpoints Truly Mischief -Ch Rennam Lady of The House Speaking) represents the 18th generation in direct female line based on our family’s first SBT import from England Trelawney of Tottington b. 20.3.1066. She was the only female import until our French lady C.I.B Multi Ch Solid Gold For Rennam By Blitz b.25.9.2022. Before her I have imported five males, four from UK and one from Czech Republic:
1. black brindle Graighallion Carnhu 1988 - 2002 (had cataract, no offsprings),
2. black brindle Ch Kablice Black Adder (GB Ch Constones Yer Man- GB Ch Black Ice) 1988 – 2007, died at age 16 y 7 m, sire of 20 Champions & many CC-winners out of 19 litters.
3. red C.I.B JWW-92 Jodel’s Incantation (GB Teutonic Warrior – Jodel’s Cassandra) b. 1991-2004, sire of 15 Champions out of only 7 litters
4. mahogany brindle C.I.B Jacknife On The Edge (AU Ch Colliermans Lionheart at Dazmarnic – My Shooting Star at Jacknife) 2008 – 2020, sire of 5 Champions out of 8 litters.
5. is import from CZ C.I.B Multi Ch Striker Jary’s Farm (Haruko Optopus – Mamba Jary’s Farm) born 6.10.2017, sire of 7 litters, The Stafford of the Year 2019 in Finland
I’m the President of The Finnish Terrier Organization and I was for over 25 years the President of The Finnish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club. I have been awarded the Golden medal of Finnish Kennel Club 2004.
I became a judge in 1999 and qualified to judge all breeds 2016. I have had the pleasure besides Finland to judge in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Czechia, Croatia, Poland, The Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ireland, Italy, France, Germany, Russia, China, South Africa, Greece, Canada and Australia.
As a judge of SBT breeder I have had a long time dream to judge SBT special show either in Australia or New Zealand and now my bucket list is on the way to be come true. Thank you so much for your invitations!

My beginnings in the SBT were the result of coincidence, since I was completely unaware of the breed. It was my brother-in-law, back at the
beginning of 2005, who decided to buy the first SBT for companionship, but we soon began competing in shows, achieving the Spanish Championship for juniors and adults. This specimen was CH ATOR.
A year later, the one who, for me, was the main reason why I am so in love with this breed arrived at home. She was Ch Staffgold Ruth Rose, pure SBT character. She was the foundation of breeding and the cornerstone of what has been Legendstaff over these 21 years. During these 21 years, we have bred specimens that have won championships in Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Switzerland, Russia, Greece, Australia, Argentina, Uruguay, International...More than 100 beauty pageants won by specimens I own and specimens born at home. I have been able to enjoy great specimens such as Multi Ch Legendstaff

Legendstaff Tennessee Honey, Ch Legendstaff Phar Lap.
A few years ago I decided to train as a judge and in this way be able to contribute to the breed from a different angle than that of the breeder, always with the greatest possible humility and honesty.
