A month later and we're still reflecting on a fantastic Social Procurement Week event at Ability Works.

We were proud to welcome visitors from across the business and social enterprise sectors, providing an opportunity to see firsthand how social procurement creates meaningful employment opportunities while delivering quality outcomes for customers.

Guests toured our facilities, met members of our team, and gained insight into the diverse services we provide across manufacturing, packing and logistics, mailroom services, Inclusive Design and employment services.

These conversations matter.

The more organisations understand what's possible through social procurement, the more opportunities we can create for people who have traditionally faced barriers to employment.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a great discussion about the future of inclusive employment and social impact.

Say hello to Ebony!

Ebony has been with Ability Works for 10 years and is proud of how far she has come.

She says having a job has helped her build confidence, independence and strong relationships. Her favourite work is in the Transurban Mail Room, where she scans correspondence and E‑tags - tasks that make her feel skilled and independent.

Ebony believes inclusion changes lives. Her resilience and kindness inspire everyone around her.
