Balwyn Rotary

Balwyn Rotary We welcome anyone with a desire to connect with likeminded people, make a meaningful impact and take action to improve the wellbeing of our communities.

As a member of the Rotary Club of Balwyn, you become more involved in the local community and you get involved in providing aid within the community, to other parts of Australia and the world. This is the essence of what the club and Rotary International offers you, the opportunity to be involved, and this is the key to getting the most out of membership. As a member, you are able to serve on a co

mmittee that meets your interests, to be part of a team that organizes the meeting program, or that runs a service project. You will also help out at the Sunday market on about four occasions during the year. All these activities will help you get to know your fellow club members and better understand the work of Rotary. On a more personal level, membership of our club involves attendance at our weekly meetings whenever you can, where you will enjoy the company and friendship of 40 interesting men and women over dinner and drinks. Most meetings also have an interesting guest speaker. Committee meetings tend to occur monthly and are often scheduled before or after the dinner meeting to reduce the need to take more of your time at other times.

Another great induction to Balwyn Rotary. We are very pleased to welcome Professor Nilmini Wikramasinghe.

Rotary Fellowships are international groups that share a common passion. Being part of a fellowship is a fun way to make friends around the world, explore a hobby or profession, and enhance your Rotary experience. From 4x4 fellowships to cybersecurity to Gin there are many ways to connect and enjoy Rotary Fellowship and Friendship Having said that this is my favourite one Rotarian Metalhead Fellowship 🤘 🤘
