Kerang Neighbourhood House is proud to launch Rural Women Rising, a new program proudly supported by the Mercy Foundation, designed to support, empower, and connect women in our rural communities.

Our latest Self-Defence Class was a fantastic success, with lots of laughs, plenty of learning, and some very important skills gained along the way!

The ladies had a great time learning practical ways to stay safe, build confidence, and look out for themselves and others. 😊

And judging by Jenny's face in these photos... I certainly wouldn't want to tackle any of them now! 😄🥊💪

Kerang Neighbourhood House is looking for caring, community-minded people to join our Board of Management.

Do you care about our local community? Would you like to help support programs, services and opportunities that make a real difference to the lives of local people?

We'd love to hear from you!

Being a board member is a rewarding way to give back, share your ideas, and help shape the future of Kerang Neighbourhood House. No special qualifications are required — just a passion for community and a willingness to be involved.

⏰ The commitment is minimal, with meetings held once a month and usually lasting around an hour. Of course, if you would like to become more involved, we would welcome your support and ideas.

We are also always looking for volunteers who would like to lend a hand with programs, events, fundraising activities, community projects, administration, gardening, the op shop, and more.

Whether you have a little time or a lot, your contribution can make a big difference.

Last week's Ham & Pea Soup was an absolute hit — not a drop left! 😋🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for lunch, shared a meal, caught up with friends, and enjoyed some great conversation. It's always wonderful to see so many people coming together and making our community such a welcoming and connected place. 💕

Our weekly Soup & a Roll lunch is about more than just a warm meal — it's about friendship, connection, and making sure everyone has a place to belong. 🥰
