A massive thank you to all who participated in Tuesday night's parade. It was an incredible sight to see the cadets marching to the tune of the pipes and to feel the sense of pride felt by all as the parade was dismissed for the last time this year.

A special mention must go to the following who were instrumental throughout the year:
CUO Samuel Marks-Wynne: Thank you for making an effort to attend every parade night to assist and pass on your knowledge while also attending your home unit.

Cr Greg Adermann, Dr Christian Rowan MP: Thank you for your continued support of the unit since we started in July 2023.

Brisbane Boys' College Pipe Band: Thank you for your musical support during the parade. The sound of the pipes and drums makes a significant difference.

Mark Parcell: Thank you for your generous donation of an Army ceremonial sword, scabbard and Sam Browne belt. Your donation contributes significantly to developing our unit and we will be proud to have it as an enduring part of our history. Thank you also for agreeing to lead a project to raise the cash for an orderly room for the unit, we definitely wish you every success!

Parents and caregivers: Thank you for picking up and dropping off your cadets at every parade night and activity throughout the year. Without your support and effort, we would not have a cadet unit to run.

Congratulations to our 7 recruits who were promoted to cadet during the parade. This promotion is a significant milestone in their journey and we hope to see great things from all of them as they develop.
