"A HARD GOD"

Is the next planned production by the Macleay Valley Theatre Company Inc.
to hit the stage of the Iconic Bandbox Theatre.

"A HARD GOD focuses on the Cassidys, an Irish Australian family post World War 2 on struggle Street.
The show has a combination of serious drama and clever light comedy.

Greg Taylor, Director, is looking to fill six roles-----
Two Females... consisting of one major & one minor role.
Three Males & Two young males 16- 25 years old.

Well that's another AGM of the M.V.T.C.INC. done & dusted.
After annual reports were read it was time for the election of the 2026 committee.
Some old familiar faces returned as well as a couple of new faces on the committee.
The Committee is as follows....

The new Committee will continue to work hard as a team to ensure that the Theatre Company and the Bandbox Theatre remain a viable part of the community.
Also Please be aware that the Bandbox is available for hire.

FIRSTLY, for supporting the Bandbox Theatre,
and SECONDLY for supporting the visiting groups----
Got Ya Back Productions and
Wyz Wimmin and friends Theatre Company,
who came and performed their Productions at the Bandbox Theatre.
Both groups spoke positively about the response they received from the Kempsey audience.
As well as speaking very highly of the Bandbox itself. The love they all share with Kempsey's "little Gem", will see both groups making a return visit to the Bandbox Theatre in the near future.

A full house audience at Ye Olde Bandbox Theatre on Thursday evening were thoroughly entertained by the visiting group ,'Got Ya Back Productions' when they performed;-----"BANJO"---
"LIVE" on the well worn famous Bandbox stage.
The very apprecative audience were thoroughly entertained and enjoyed the groups Production.
A standing ovation & prolonged applause was given as a just reward for the performance.

The M.V.T.C.INC. Attention is now centred on the next production to be held tomorrow

When another visiting group from the Nambucca Valley Wyz Wimmin and friends Theatre Company

The Wyz Wimmin and friends Theatre Company ten year retrospective: the company is bringing to the stage 10 of its most powerful scripts.
These short, sharp & brilliantly observed characters will thoroughly entertain you.
