Last week Amy and the Kempsey IMF Raw team headed to the 2026 Weipa Run Festival 🏃‍♀️

They travelled over 3000km to take part in the IMF Raw relay on the Saturday with the Napranum Aboriginal Community and the 2026 Weipa Run Festival on the Sunday 🤩

Amy is nothing short of amazing and we are so happy to see these updates from her trip! Well done Amy! 🤍🩶🖤

🚨 FREE KEMPSEY EVENT: Hair, Makeup & Self-Care Day for Women with Disability 🚨

If you are looking for a fun, relaxed day out to try something new, take a break, and connect with great people in the community, this is for you!

🌸The My Selfcare team is hosting a completely FREE, fully accessible Community Self-Care Workshop right here in Kempsey!

This event is designed entirely to focus on you, your well-being, and having fun.

✨ What you will enjoy:

Interactive hair, makeup, and self-care stations.

Guided styling tips from industry professionals.

A warm, welcoming space to make new friends.

Complimentary tea & coffee provided.

📅 When: Wednesday 26th August
⏰ Time: 11:00am – 1:30pm
📍 Where: Kempsey (Accessible venue)
🎟️ Cost: 100% FREE (Registration is required)
👥 (Support workers, family members, and carers are also very welcome to attend with you!)
