💚💚 Have your voice heard with headspace Kempsey! 💚💚

We’re looking for young people aged 12–25 to join our Youth Reference Group.

Our Youth Reference Group helps guide the programs, events and services we provide for young people across the Kempsey community. It’s a great opportunity to share your ideas, meet new people, build valuable skills and help create positive change in youth mental health.

Meetings are held on the first and third Friday of each month from 3.45 to 4.45pm.

💜 Today, headspace Kempsey and joined with Kempsey Families Incorporated to celebrate Wear It Purple Day and this year’s theme, “Colours of Courage.”

Together, we wrote messages of courage in chalk along the streets of Kempsey and connected with some amazing locals. It was also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the different services working across our community to support the most vulnerable of us.

Courage can be shown in many ways—speaking up, standing beside someone, offering kindness or helping another person feel safe, included, and supported.

We encourage everyone to do something courageous for someone who may be vulnerable in your community. Even a small act of kindness or support can make a meaningful difference. 🌈💜

💚 What an amazing day at the Yuwa Nyinda Dream Academy event! 💚

We were so excited to see all the young people today creating such incredible little artworks on their pebbles. We have something special planned for their creations and can’t wait to show you—stay tuned! 👀🎨

The community is invited to come along and enjoy tonight’s concert from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

We’ll also be back at Yua Nyinda tomorrow from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, where students from local high schools and public schools can visit our space, meet the team, and enjoy some fun activities and merch.

We look forward to seeing you there! 💚
