2nd Chance Community Hub In a Nutshell:
We want to create a Community Hub where people can come together in a safe environment to share their knowledge, skills and experiences.

To educate and empower people with new skills and to help them gain confidence and encourage them to share their own skills. To provide a connection point between various Community groups and service providers and build relationships between these groups for the betterment of the Community and its members. To reduce waste and things going into landfill by repurposing, recycling and upcycling as mu

ch waste as we can. Sign up to become a Member and go on our contact list and we will keep you up to date with everything that is happening in The Hub and how you can help. Do you have a business that would like to connect with the Community and would like to offer discounts to our Members? Do you have a service you would like to share? We are currently offering sewing classes to teach people not just how to sew, but how to create a new outfit from repurposed fabric, eg turn a pair of pants into a skirt. Creating costumes and expanding our existing costume range. Popup shop space for like minded people to hire a space and sell their wares or showcase what they can do. An Artist space to showcase your work. Drama classes for Adults and Kids to learn confidence and public speaking skills. Ball attire so kids don’t have to miss their school balls because they can’t afford the outfit. Today's silly Saturday we celebrated Shakespeares birthday with an Elizabethan theme..

Both dresses upcycled from quilt covers that had been donated and inspired our imagination.

We had so much fun we went to the Elizabethan Pub for a photo shoot after work.
