The next chapter begins tomorrow.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of a very special term for Latin Choir Brisbane as we start rehearsals for Term 3.

Whether you’re looking for a choir to join, returning after some time away, or simply curious to see what we’re all about, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿.

Six years ago, seven friends came together to sing. Today, Latin Choir Brisbane is so much more than a choir.

It has become a place where friendships have formed, cultures have been celebrated, confidence has grown, and people from all walks of life have found a sense of belonging.

✨ A joyful night for Latin Choir Brisbane ✨

Last night, a small group from our choir had the joy of representing Latin Choir Brisbane at the Latin American Awards Australia 2026, where we received a Special Mention in the Cultural Ambassador category.

We left the evening feeling inspired, grateful, and reminded of the incredible strength, diversity, and generosity of the Latin American community across Australia.

Thank you to the Latin American Awards Australia for a beautiful evening, and congratulations to all finalists and award recipients!

As an intergenerational choir with members from different parts of the world, we are grateful for the opportunity to share and celebrate the richness of Latin American music and traditions here in Brisbane / Meanjin, while creating spaces for connection, belonging, and cultural exchange.

🖤💛❤️ National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) is coming soon.

As we prepare to record this year’s song, we’re revisiting a meaningful moment from last year - our performance of “Solid Rock.” A powerful song that invites reflection on truth, history, and our shared responsibility to walk forward together.

At Latin Choir Brisbane, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands where we live, rehearse, sing and connect, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present.
