🎓 A few weeks ago, we celebrated something special.
Ten incredible young people graduated from our 16-week Youth Mentoring Program – NXT Gear, and what a journey it has been.
Many began the program lacking confidence and unsure of what their future could look like. We've watched them grow in ways that can't always be measured. Through goal setting, giving back to their community, building positive relationships, and believing in themselves, they've started to see new possibilities. Today, they're looking towards brighter pathways in education, employment, health and wellbeing, and meaningful community connections.
You won't see many photos of our graduates, as we always respect their wishes and they chose to keep those moments private. Instead, we're proud to share the celebration with the families who stood beside them on this journey.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing RTO partner - Horizon2, whose creative and flexible approach to delivering the Certificate I in Developing Independence helped make learning accessible and engaging for every young person.
To our graduates—thank you for letting us walk alongside you. We are so incredibly proud of the courage you've shown and the growth we've witnessed. Our youth workers will miss this group, as we’ve got to know each of you and your families personally.
The future is brighter because of young people like you. 💙
