“If you don’t like the road you’re walking, start paving another one.” – Dolly Parton

Every choice you make is a step in a direction. Some roads feel easy in the moment but lead somewhere you never planned to go. Others take courage, discipline, and a bit of grit—but they lead to something better.

Out here, we see it all. The struggles. The pressure. The moments where it feels like there’s no other option. But there is always another path.
You’re not stuck. You’re not defined by one decision. And you’re never too far gone to turn things around.

If the road you’re on isn’t taking you where you want to go…start paving a new one. One choice at a time.

Civic Assist Street Crew are here walking alongside you.

Today our NXT Gear participants had the incredible opportunity to visit Outback Instincts and experience a few hours on the land. 🐎🌾

From catching horses and feeding the cows and goats, to learning about the amazing work they do with their dogs, every moment was hands-on and full of learning. The young people gained confidence, built new skills, and connected with the animals and environment in such a meaningful way.

A huge thank you to the team at Outback Instincts for welcoming us and sharing their knowledge and passion. It’s inspiring to see an organization making such a powerful difference in the lives of youth through connection, responsibility, and the outdoors.
We’re so grateful for the experience! Thanks

A big shout out to Hayley & Annie from Outback Instincts for visiting our Civic Assist Street Crews tonight with two of their dogs, Ace & Odie. 🐶💛
The presence of these beautiful animals at our Youth Street Crew brought a calming, supportive energy to the space — helping some young people feel more at ease and connected. It was a great experience that truly made a difference.
We hope to see you (and the dogs!) again soon! 🐾
