Blue Mountains Toastmasters Club

Blue Mountains Toastmasters Club Blue Mountains Toastmasters is a community based non profit educational organisation that builds confidence and teaches public speaking skills.

We meet twice a month, on 2nd and 4th Mondays. Location: Hotel Carrington, Katoomba. Guests are always welcome. Blue Mountains Toastmasters is a local friendly neighbourhood club that helps members improve public speaking skills. Did you know? 75% of the population has a fear of public speaking. Despite, public speaking is acknowledged as the most important vital skill to have and hone. We utilise

these skills when we speak to friends, coworkers, bosses, employees, clients, and even bigger audiences. Having the ability to deliver a message confidently and effectively can have an enormous impact, both in your professional and personal life. We follow a curriculum set by an international not-for-profit body called https://www.toastmasters.org/
It's good rich course material tailored to each of our speaking needs. There's a small fees included, if we need access to the course materials and mentors. But anyone is welcome to come as a guest for free, to observe, learn and understand if this is fit for you. We meet twice a month - 2nd and 4th Monday evenings. Time: We arrive at 7:15pm. It's a well planned event, and therefore runs on a set agenda, has a round of prepared speeches from members and other speaking sessions. We start at on dot at 7:30pm and finish at 9:30pm. Venue: Carrington Hotel, Katoomba (mostly at the Ballroom or the smaller room)

Even more reasons to join Toastmasters !!!!
The Sydney Morning Herald has said "As AI makes the production of knowledge work more and more efficient, the job of presenting, debating, lobbying, arm-twisting, reassuring or just plain selling the work appears to be rising in importance."

The job of presenting, debating, lobbying or just plain selling the work is rising in importance.
