Thrive Services is proud to support this years' 'Ride Free from DV' event.

Ride Free from DV, is a horse trail ride and walk fundraiser organised by Megalong local Siobhan McIlveen after she lost a dear friend to domestic violence.

The last event in 2024, raising an astounding $19,000 which was donated to local organisations supporting DV victims. It also started lots of conversations around DV.

Now it's time ride again (or walk!)

Ride Free from DV Event Details:

- Sunday 23rd August, 8am - 2pm
- Megalong Valley
- Come as a rider or walker
- Post-ride FREE BBQ lunch at Megalong Community Hall

All proceeds will be donated to local 'grass-roots' organisations supporting victims of domestic violence.

Register now to join the ride or walk the trail in support https://events.humanitix.com/riding-free-from-dv-2026

💛 Loneliness Awareness Week is happening right now — and there's still time.

It's easy to let a week like this pass by without doing anything different. But connection doesn't need a grand gesture.

If you've been feeling isolated lately, you're not alone in that, even when it feels like it. And if you know someone who might be struggling quietly, a small reach-out this week could mean more than you realise.

There are still a few days left. How will you make room for connection this weekend?
