What a wonderful Book Week! ✨📚

We’ve had such a magical week at Karratha Family Centre celebrating Book Week 2026, Symphony of Stories. 🎶

From dressing up as our favourite characters, to stories, games and a picnic under our magical fairy tree, the Centre has been filled with imagination, laughter and Book Week fun. 🧚‍♀️

A huge thank you to all our families and little ones who joined in and helped bring the magic of stories to life. 💛

And a special thank you to our wonderful Karratha Family Centre team, who dressed up and put so much effort into creating the magic throughout the week. ✨

Dive into an afternoon of sea life themed creativity at Karratha Family Centre!

Children will get hands-on with a range of fun arts and crafts inspired by the wonderful world under the sea. Think colourful fish, ocean creatures and plenty of creative fun!

Thursdays | 3pm–5pm

📣 Unfortunately, we have to cancel Playgroup tomorrow and Dr. Sam Casey's workshop tomorrow (Friday 30th July), due to unwell staff.

Have a look at what's on this week at Karratha Family Centre!

This week we are recognising International Day of Friendship, which will be the focus of our programs throughout the week.

We start our Arts & Crafts program this Thursday and is joining us at Playgroup this week to share her parent workshop that supports parents in their journey of play and connection with their children.

Parenting is not an easy walk in the park so why not join us and take a moment to be kind to yourself and recognise that playing with our kids doesn't have to be another chore, or to be done a correct way. Leave knowing you're not alone and how to recognise and accept the feelings you have when it comes to play and, take home a therapeutic play tool to help your child feel understood.
