🐱 Adoption Update – Ingrid 💙

Ingrid first came into SAFE as a nervous mum with her three kittens. Her story then continued when she became a foster mum to little Bowie, and along the way, she slowly discovered just how wonderful life could be.

Now, Ingrid has completely come out of her shell and is thriving in her new family.

Her family shared:
“Ingrid has completely come out of her shell and is now such a confident, happy girl. She loves to play, is always excited for mealtime, and has become the best of friends with our little dog Bronx, who we also adopted through SAFE. Our older dog, Laika (also from SAFE) still isn’t sure, but she keeps trying to make friends with him too.

She is the biggest cuddle bug. She’s happy to curl up on Pete's lap or mine for hours on end. We never thought we would have a cat, but she came into our lives from helping out with fostering cats when SAFE was desperately needing a carer. We watched her go from scared Mumma coming in with her 3 kittens we met at SAFE, to a foster mum for little Bowie the kitten, and then blossoming into the most loving, vocal, purr machine who is confident and not scared of anything.

We love her, and adopting/fostering from SAFE has been incredibly rewarding. She has meshed into our little family easily. ❤️”

At 3 years old, Tom is a gentle, affectionate boy with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart.

He's the ultimate little shadow! Whether you're walking around the house, relaxing in bed or heading into another room, Tom wants to be right there with you.

He LOVES head bumps, pats, brushing sessions and having little conversations with his adorable squeaks and purrs. He's even got a playful side and enjoys chasing balls and the occasional zoomie!

Tom would be happiest in a calm, adults-only home where he can be the only pet and soak up all the love and attention.

LIFT FOUND 🥰

🐾 CAN ANYONE HELP GET BALOO HOME TO KARRATHA? 🐾

We're hoping our wonderful Pilbara community can help return a favour!

A very kind gentleman who previously helped transport two of our SAFE Karratha dogs from Karratha to Perth is now trying to help reunite a beautiful old boy with his dad.

Meet Baloo, a chilled-out 12-year-old Red Shepherd/Husky cross who needs a lift from North Perth to Karratha. ❤️

Baloo is currently staying in temporary care, but unfortunately that arrangement is coming to an end.

Despite several attempts to organise transport, the timing just hasn't worked out.

🚗 IS ANYONE DRIVING FROM PERTH TO KARRATHA SOON?

If you have room for one lovely senior dog and could help get Baloo back to his dad, we'd absolutely love to hear from you!

This gentleman has helped our rescue dogs in the past, and we'd love to see our community return the kindness.

I have a client who needs to get his adult Red Sheppard/Husky cross named Baloo 12 yrs old and chilled to Karratha from the northern suburbs of Perth.

I have been trying to help out on my last couple of trips but the planets have not been aligned for either of us.

The temp home this awesome dog is living at it is coming to an end.

Can any of you legends take him up to his dad in Karratha please.

She's clever, eager to please, toilet trained and walks beautifully on lead. She's still learning a few manners, but with treats, praise and a little patience, she's making wonderful progress!
