Would you like to have a say in the City of Karratha's Early Years Strategy for 2025-2030? This strategy aims to improve the health, wellbeing, education, safety, and development of children aged 0-5 years in our community (AEDC Outcomes). Consultants engaged for this project, Sarah Rheinberger and Elysia Canning, will be leading the development of this strategy and are hosting community workshops during the week of 6-9 May 2025. These forums are for community, stakeholders, service providers and anyone interested in the 0-5 years.

You can register to attend a workshop, complete a confidential and de-identified Parent/Caregiver online survey and the opportunity for your child to have their say if they want, by using this link: https://whatwemakeit.karratha.wa.gov.au/early-years-strategy

Dates and places for the workshops are as set out below.
• Tuesday 6 May: Dampier
• Tuesday 6 May: Karratha community forum, 6:30-8pm
• Wednesday 7 May: Wickham community forum, 10:30am-12pm (we encourage Point Samson community involvement at this forum)
• Wednesday 7 May: Roebourne pop up from 1:30pm, venue TBC
• Thursday 8 May: Karratha 1:00-3:00pm, Karratha Leisureplex

Your participation in this process is crucial, and they look forward to engaging with you to create a comprehensive and effective Early Years Strategy for the City of Karratha.

The City of Karratha is developing an Early Years Strategy and Implementation Plan that will take us into the next five years.
