Bayview Road parkrun Event #274 | 22 August 2026 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Another great Saturday morning at Bayview Road parkrun, with 35 participants walking, jogging and running their way around the course. 👟

We had plenty of visitors this morning, with parkrunners joining us from New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Perth. A warm Bayview welcome to all 9 first-time visitors, including 2 people completing their very first parkrun. We hope you enjoyed your morning with us! 👋

Congratulations also to the 5 parkrunners who achieved a PB today. 🎉👏

It was great to see all ages out enjoying parkrun this morning, along with our four-legged friends and even some parkrun yoga. 🧘‍♀️🐶

Bayview Road parkrun – Saturday 15 August

A huge thank you to today’s volunteer crew👏

And an extra special thank you to our first-time volunteers today. It’s always great to welcome new faces to the volunteer team, and we really appreciate everyone who helped make this morning’s event happen. 💚

We had 27 participants out on the course today, including 2 first-timers to Bayview Road parkrun and an impressive 8 PBs! Congratulations to everyone who joined us.

Looking ahead to next Saturday, a big thank you to Ebony Ford, who has already put her hand up for Tail Walk; Yvette Bendall, who will take care of results and communications; and Matt Bendall, who will bring the event equipment.

We’re a little short on volunteers this week… and when I say a little, I mean a lot! 😅

Bayview Road parkrun Event #272 | 8 August 2026 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Another fantastic morning at Bayview Road parkrun saw 47 participants walk, jog and run their way around the course. 👟
A warm Bayview welcome to our 7 first-time visitors, including 2 people completing their very first parkrun. Welcome to the parkrun family! We hope you enjoyed your morning with us and look forward to seeing you back again soon. 👋

🙌 A huge thank you to our volunteers who made today's event possible:

A little behind-the-scenes fact from this morning. Our volunteers actually completed a pre-parkrun run before 7:00am so they could still get their own kilometres in before volunteering. We'd love for them to occasionally be part of the 7:00am parkrun tribe too, but for that to happen, we need a few more volunteers to help share the roster.

If you've ever thought about giving volunteering a go, we'd love to have you. No experience is needed; all roles are easy to learn, and you'll be supported every step of the way. Just have a chat with the Run Director on Saturday morning or leave us a comment on this post.

The FeNaClNG long weekend got off to a great start this morning, with 36 participants walking, jogging and running around the Bayview Road course. 👟

It was fantastic to welcome 12 visitors to Bayview Road parkrun, including one person completing their very first parkrun. Welcome to the parkrun family! We hope you enjoyed your morning with us and look forward to seeing you again soon. 👋
