About Red Dog 4WD Club:
We are an adventurous group of 4wders, campers, and outdoor people that enjoy our region and get out there as much as we can to explore what we know and hopefully discover new. The Club is very family orientated, and there are many members with children of all ages, and children are actively encouraged to participate in all aspects of our club. The Club has a broad range of activities and some of these are as follows:
- Day trips and sun downers to get Club members together;
- Overnight/2-night trips to explore more;
- Recce trips conducted by two or three club members to find new places;
- Long Touring – eg Gibb River, Alice Springs.
- Assisting the Dept Parks & Wildlife (DPaW) under the TrackCare Program;
- Many other trips and adventures! We actively encourage all members to participate in the trips, and to lead their own if they feel comfortable in doing so. In addition to the above, the Club carries out the following activities every year:
- Annual Club Cook Off Competition;
- Annual Club Photo Competition;
- Kids Colouring In Competition;
- Annual Christmas Party and Raffle; and
- Fundraising Events for the Club and its Annual Nominated Charity. Nominated Charity:
Each year the Club nominates a Charity for our fundraising efforts to go toward. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at The Tambrey from 6:30pm onwards. We encourage new members and those interested in the club are more than welcome to come along! If you like the outdoors, if you like 4WDing, if you like camping - you'll like us!
