Well Im back in the kitchen this week its been nearly 6 weeks since my knee replacement wobbley but good....Colleen and Irene have been amazing and it has allowed me to recover without feeling Ive let anyone down they are truely lovely ladies We'd be lost without them....This week is a stir fry of pork,veg and noodles in a sweet sour sauce followed by a favorite...bread and butter pudding... hope to see you tomorrow ...coffee and tea from 11.00 dinner served at 12-1.00 plenty of chatter...

Thought I should do an update to let people know whats gone on recently....I have not postedanything lately as have had my left knee replaced...so now have a matching pair....so have been out of action BUT Open Door has continued in my absence with the very capable Colleen and Irene doing a fantastic job providing Fridays meals.
NORTHERN COMMUNITY LEGAL SERVICES will be starting with us on Friday 28th August bookings can be made by phoning 82816911 to make an appointment.
The Food Pantry is travelling well but have been asked about donating goods so if you wish to donate food to the pantry then our hours are Mom,Wed,Fri. 9.00-12-00 we will be only too happy to recieve any items that are fresh or in date with thanks.
Our games morning is going well even in the cold weather,ladies crocheting, card games and board games have been popular....so if you have a few hours to fill on Mondays 9.30-11.30 then you would be most welcome ...urn is always on for a cuppa and a chat.
Our first 3 meal packs will start to be available from 24th Monday August so if you are interested pop in and have a look..
Well I think Ive caught up with most of the news now .....

A huge thankyou and shout out to Jaqui anne not only donating a printer but her time in setting it up for us ....it will come in very helpful when we want to do a quick notice for an event in tne future....so again thank you very much💐💐💐

Don't forget, Monday is funday at Light Country Community Centre. Come and play some games or bring your knitting or crochet.

The main thing is to get out of the house, have a laugh, meet new people, and have a tea, coffee, and a bickie.

FOOD PANTRY 9:00-12:00 as usual.
