Kapunda Community Gallery is just one of our local volunteer groups and organisations who receive valuable and ongoing support from Light Regional Council.

Light Regional Council is developing a new Community Engagement Framework and Policy, and we're inviting local clubs, committees, volunteer groups and organisations to help shape how Council connects with our community. Artist Rachel Porter of The Starling's Nest conducted a wonderful hands-on workshop on Sunday.
WIth a back-to-nature feel and using natural materials a group of us created lovely woven baskets from pine needles. These photos were taken by Rachel as we worked our magic.

STILL LIFE// We have a new still life set up for anyone to come in and draw. We can provide pencils and paper as well. Pop in during business our and give us a visit.

‘THE ART OF LIVING’// Our annual Youth Exhibition is full of life and colour. Just look at these fun pieces by our local Kindy, how cute !

If your child has art up, please bring them in to see it. If your children are creative and like art, bring them in to support their fellow students.

LIFE DRAWING// Mark your calendars, our next Life Drawing session is coming up this Saturday 20th June from 0930 to 1130. It’s a free event, and all are welcome, just bring your materials.
