6th place at the Australian National Band Championships and honestly, we couldn’t be prouder! Wallarah Community Band took the stage this weekend with SIX generations of musicians, our youngest just 10 years old competing in an opens competition.

A massive shoutout to our guest players, Jacinta, Julie, Aiden, Ethan, Daniel, Rowen, Arthur, Ossie, David, Emmerson, Shauvanne, Sarah and Skye, thank you for joining us for this experience and bringing your best to the stage. You are welcome back any time!

And to everyone who helped with fundraising to make this trip possible, your support means the world.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our band at our Nationals Taster Concert and Trivia Night!

We’re so excited to share that we raised over $800, which will more than cover our entry fee to nationals.

A huge shout out to our amazing bandies who dedicated two full days of rehearsals over the weekend to get ready. Your commitment and hard work are incredible!

Less than two weeks to go… we can’t wait!

Wallarah Community Band is competing at the Australian National Band championships in B Grade, in Brisbane on Friday the 3rd April. We are looking for the assistance of a Bass Clarinet player, Baritone Sax player and Oboist. Wow. What a day and what a community!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our Bunnings sausage sizzle and supported Wallarah Community Band by grabbing a sausage sandwich or a drink. Because of your generosity, we raised over $2,000 towards the band’s journey to Nationals in April.

We are so grateful for the support, the chats and the encouragement. Community backing like this genuinely makes a difference and helps our musicians chase some pretty big goals.
