Don't miss out! FUTURE COUNCIL is screening this Saturday night 6pm at Upper River Hall. A film for the future! A great evening for the whole family! Saturday 9th August at 6pm!

The ARTSLAB has screened all of Damon’s films over the years and we are delighted to not only show this latest film but for the first time, also have him here in person to introduce the film. Documentary filmmaker Ian Darling will lead a Q&A following the film, with Damon, producer Anna Kaplan and 15 year old cast member Ruby Rodgers (granddaughter of Jimmy Barnes) who will also be performing one of her very own songs on the night, inspired by the film.

Did you know Upper River Hall now has reverse cycle airconditioning? So the hall will be cosy tomorrow afternoon at 2-4pm for poetry and readings by local poets and actors, and music by the wonderful Danny Ross. Spend the afternoon “under the mountains and beside a creek” in beautiful Upper Kangaroo River. Come and have a glass of wine or a warm cuppa, with afternoon tea by Caterina. Bookings essential. A wonderful opportunity to glimpse the next generation of art and artists. The art show is up for two hours only from 2-4pm, with artists talk at 2.30pm.
