Sept 19-20... are you coming racing? Look at those pre-commitments!

Yes all the rectangles marked in red are taken, it's basically down to carports now.

For Sports Sedans if you want to go the carport path, somewhere around number 33 to 39 will put you a close walk to our Sports Sedans and Invited Cars paddock garages.

If you want a paddock garage, there are C13 and C14 available through our Sports Sedans category manager, check for an eNewsletter in last night's inbox for details.

For all members, if you want a carport for the weekend, this is your call to action, you can only lock them in by doing your entry and picking them off the map in the QR entry system. They're the next ones to fly out the door so don't delay.

And get ready for a big weekend out with your friends and family as we head to Motorsport Australia's Queensland Circuit Racing State Championship Round 5, September 19 and 20.

We said the next event was going to be the big one! We have garages C13 and C14 available to Sports Sedans and Invited Cars via our category manager as he looks to keep the family together in one area and build the family friendly circuit racing vibe further. The rest of the paddock garages are filled.

Check your emails for one from last night, we had 4 garages then, it's now down to 2. If you don't get our emails then reach out by DM if you plan to race with us.

Lochlan and the LR Racing team are at Queensland Raceway this weekend.

In State Championship racing his car is one of two in action with the Duratec engine and specification and competes in the Qld Sports & Racing Cars Championship.

This weekend though the National Formula Fords bring an entire grid of those cars to the North and the Shearsmiths are joining in the fun. Good luck to the LR crew, and enjoy!

The next round for Formula Ford 1600 cars, the Kent engine cars that make up Queensland's state championship, is on September 19 and 20 at QR, and if you are interested in open wheel racing the QRDA members will be out in force to cheer on across multiple categories.

State Championship Round 5 coming everyone's way with a stacked schedule. Entries are open, but Sports Sedans, TA2, Invited Cars and Touring Cars are invited to join us in a large common garage ~ get those details from us before entering.

Put September 19 & 20 in the calendar! Round 5 and Queensland Raceway here we come.

Want to join in our play pen garage, contact us directly for details *before* entering the event. It's taken until now, we've had a lot on the go, but we got to it, and have everyone able to garage together if acting fast.

September 19-20 at Queensland Raceway is our next event, Round 5 of the State Championship "The Big One" will feature the full Sports & Racing lineup, as well as Superminichallenge, Series X3 Club Queensland inc. and Queensland Sports Sedan Racing

Entries are open. If you want to be in the Sports Sedans family garages please arrange it with them before entering, and for Production Cars set to do the Enduro race contact the ARDC first.

Wings and slicks racing cars gets its marquee event of the year at Queensland Raceway on September 19 and 20. Join Australian Formula Open for the Errol Gilmour Memorial Cup round of the national championship for a great two days in the North.

Good morning race fans! If you're into things that move fast, you could take up calendar watching, appears there's nothing on earth as fast as this year's calendar!

But calendar watching is boring. Race cars are not. So we recommend going racing to address any fears of missing out on the action.

One week behind us since Round 4, eyes now turn to "The Big One" at Queensland Raceway, Round 5 of the state championships along with some visitor events.

Australian Racing Drivers' Club present the Australian Production Car Endurance Series Round 3. DM the page if you want to get involved, we'll send you the ARDC's contact details for this.

Australian Formula Open present the Motorsport Australia Formula Open Championship Round 4 and the Errol Gilmour Memorial Cup.

Our own Queensland Sports Sedan Racing is calling out for any and every Spaceframe and Touring Car racer to come along and put on a great show with our growing band of regulars.

With a little pr assist where we can from our QRDA Sports & Racing socials we'll see Production Sports Car Racing Association of Queensland, Formula Vee Queensland, QLD Sportscar Championship and QLD Formula Ford in action across multiple groups.

One-make mastery will come in two forms, with Series X3 Club Queensland inc. and Superminichallenge.

Formula Ford 1600 cars, and Supersports cars, the next round of State Championship racing is coming up fast!

The popular B11 to B16 garages are already filling with FF1600 Kent-powered cars; across both rows 4 of the 12 spots are already gone...

September 19 and 20, it's the big State Championship event of the year with almost all MA state categories being joined by some interstate competitions on the one schedule.

Production Cars return to Motorsport Australia at the next state round as the new for 2026/27 Australian Racing Drivers' Club Australian Production Car Endurance Series joins Round 5 of the Queensland Circuit Racing State Championship at QR.

Flying the flag for QRDA members, Aarron was our top performer on the weekend as Sports Sedans and Invited Cars Championship took to Queensland Raceway for Round 4.

So close to a clean sweep but for a deflating tyre 🤷 but we're certain the next time we see the car on track it will only be getting faster from here. A pretty good debut race meeting for this new car and driver combo.

On his first race meeting of running in the turbocharged rotary RX7, at Queensland Raceway on Saturday, Aarron Hodges was leader of the pack for most of the day.

It’s an impressive car, fully rebuilt and upgraded by the SCS Motorsport team and with limited testing time beforehand for Aarron the performance is a great start and shows plenty of potential lays ahead.

Pole position and two wins set the bar, but then in the final of three races the tyre issue sent him to the pits and tumbling down the points. By one point at the end, he clung on for a debut podium finishing the round in 3rd.

A man of few words for the podium presentation, but clearly very pleased with the performance and what was learnt for future use. Congratulations Aarron.
