Today, Kel is flying to Kalgoorlie to spend time with the Educators at Goldfields Child Care Centre Inc.

Goldfields Child Care Centre is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn and thrive. Kel is looking forward to collaborating with the team, sharing practical behaviour support strategies, and working together to strengthen educator practice.

GCCC kicked off our first day of our 3Up Program last Friday. The children move over to our OSHC environment to enjoy a day of fun activities and learning to encourage all the skills they need when they are at big school.

The cooler weather is definitely here and so is our Winter Menu. Working with Feed Australia for recipe ideas and menu planning, we make sure that children receive the recommended serving across all five food groups while they are at the service.

Last Friday we celebrated all the special people in the children's lives. We had a lovely afternoon tea with fun activities and yummy food. Thank you to everyone that came along it was a lovely afternoon.

April is always a busy time at the service as we enjoy our vacation care programs and our fun and engaging long day care programs. All the children enjoyed getting out into the community, we had trips to Bunnings, Kalgoorlie Boulder Racecourse, Hannans North Tourist Mine, Hammond Park, Kmart, Goldfields Community Gardens and Karlkurla Park.

We got visits from some furry friends with rabbits coming to visit the service. We took part in lots of cooking experiences and got to share these with our families as well. The learning never stops and it is always fun and exciting to see where our learning journey will take us.
