Last Thursday our Centre Manager Leah braved the Daffodil Day Dip to raise money for cancer research through Cancer Council Australia.

Leah spent 18 minutes in 8 degrees! Crazily cold but great fun and for an even greater cause.

The event was organised by the Goldfields Women's Health Care Centre, and Leah was joined by Bega Garnbirringu Health Service, the ACCO NTP, City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, and various other local businesses at the Kalgoorlie Climatize Ice Baths.

Together we raised $6600, well over our initial $3000 goal. A big thank you to everyone who donated and got involved! 🧡🧡

Gym Members!
Sorry to say the Smith Machine has died a sad death. The OUT OF ORDER signs are up so please do not use! We would hate for any of you to be injured!
Good news is replacements for the dead machines are incoming in the next month , I know it seems like forever but please be patient, progress is happening!!!

Great news! Power has been fully restored, and the gym is now open and ready to welcome all members back.

🏋️ All gym facilities are operating as normal.

📌Admin office will be fully operational from 9:00 AM Thursday morning.

Along with the Goldfields Women's Health Care Centre, our Centre Manager Leah is braving the cold for the Daffodil Day DIP. And yes - she's doing it in her work clothes!

Leah will take the plunge on Thurs 20 August, with all funds raised going to the Cancer Council Australia to help fund life-saving cancer research.

Cancer touches so many people in our community, and supporting causes like this is our way of standing behind them.

What a week! 🖤💛❤️

We celebrated NAIDOC Week the deadly way, with community, culture, and connection front and centre.

From the Y disco kicking things off in Laverton, to marching alongside community at the Kalgoorlie NAIDOC Week March, to a beautiful Traditional Owners morning tea with Leah Stuart-Douglas, Bruce Champion, Stephen Morrison and Heather Momo.

We celebrated our mob at the Community Awards Ceremony, got the whole crew together for a hoe down in Coolgardie (big shoutout to Heather on the decks), and wrapped things up with a School Holiday Games Day back in Laverton.

Thank you to everyone who came along, celebrated with us, and made this NAIDOC Week one to remember. 💛
