Meet Maraya our local athlete no.2!

Maraya started little athletics in 2017 as an U6 and her main event focus are the throws. With a dedicated support system from her mum, her big sister and her Hammer coach Sarah (from Sprinting Fast based in Perth), Maraya heads into the 2026/27 season on the back a massive international tour in Malaysia.

On tour Maraya brought home Bronze in both 16U & 21U Discus events, and 5th in 16U shotput sporting a massive PB.

With a total of 16 PB’s, Maraya continued to build on her early country champs success to hit some massive wins in 2026......

EGCA Annual General Meeting – Everyone Welcome!

The Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association invites all members and anyone interested in being involved in cricket to attend our Annual General Meeting.

📍 Venue: North Kalgoorlie Cricket Club Rooms, Marshall Street

All committee positions will be declared vacant, and nominations are welcome for anyone looking to get involved and help shape the future of cricket in our association.
