It was a privilege to recently present alongside Shari Champion, General Manager of Ngunytju Tjitji Pirni, at the Ending Coercive Control and Family Violence Conference in Perth.

Together, we shared how the Dream With Us framework is embedded across our organisations and programs, and how it supports meaningful conversations around respect, healthy relationships, leadership and wellbeing.

Through the partnership between GACS and Hope Community Services, we have the opportunity to work alongside young people, families and community to create culturally safe spaces where these conversations can happen openly and meaningfully.

From our Youth Bush Trips to community engagement activities, our work is grounded in a commitment to addressing Aboriginal family, domestic, coercive control and sexual violence in ways that are community-led, culturally grounded and focused on positive change.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to such an important conversation and for creating space to share, listen and learn. 💚

Last week GACS Rangers facilitated a weeks long Cultural immersion camp with Telstra Corporation and Indigenous Desert Alliance on country at Marapoi. A week of two way learning, protected species monitoring skills, bush foods cooking, selling our bespoke native bush products, bush medicine, plant knowledge, Art, honey ants tours and traditional dancing and ways of Aboriginal Culture shared and loved by all.
More pics to follow. Congratulations to the Goldfields Ranger Team on a successful camp.
