I know Saturday mornings are busy, but honestly, Jakes Point parkrun is such a good way to start the weekend.

It’s free, it’s friendly, and you don’t have to be a runner. You can walk, jog, bring the kids, come with a mate, or just turn up on your own and meet a few people.

We’re really lucky to have parkrun here in Kalbarri, but it only works if people use it. So if you’ve been meaning to come along, this is your sign.

Come down this Saturday and give it a go. No pressure, no judgement — just 5km at your own pace with a bunch of locals.
