Mural unveil day. What a hit!

A great day for the young artists of Mountain Track to be able to show off their masterpiece. What a wonderful legacy, thank you to all involved for your incredible contributions. We love this mural!

Also big thanks to Kyle at Creative Sparks Projects for all you’ve done to bring this mural to life. You are one talented artist. Thank you for your great work throughout the whole process.

Such a pleasure to have a great selection of Mountain Track Supporters up here on Friday to celebrate the occasion. Special thanks to our parliamentary representatives: Melina Bath MP and Martin Cameron for Morwell and Cr Leanne Potter

Another week where we got to see just how brilliant the young people of the Latrobe Valley are.

For so many young people, traditional schooling is not necessarily their thing, but this doesn't mean they're not talented.

Watching all the young people grasp new skills so quickly and be so keen to learn and create highlights just what these young people are capable of.

Thanks again to all for another fantastic week.

A cracking beach day to end the term with one great bunch of young people. It made for an amazing and memorable day.

Thanks for being such incredible company and challenging yourself in an unfamiliar environment. The ocean and all the uncontrolled elements are often daunting for many, but the way you each overcame these with enthusiasm was a credit too you all. A huge well done to all and thank you :)

We now take a two week break and return on the 13 April with our accredited training modules starting on that day. Plenty of opportunities for all our older young people to engage in upskilling their resumes. Advanced first aid, confined spaces are just a couple of the many courses coming up.

To all our Mountain Track supporters and the family and friends of our particpants. On May 8, we are unveiling the Mountain Track Mural that our Mountain Trackers have been working on and we'd love you to join us for the occasion. Just let us know by phone or email if you can make it.

A privilege today to host a local primary school's fantastic young people and staff.

The day was made even better thanks to the caring and engaging mentoring efforts of some of our senior Mountain Trackers.

A big thank you to the staff and students from the local school who came with so much enthusiasm and to our older young people who collectively made the day such a memorable experience for all.

It has been a busy few weeks at Mountain Track with some ripper moments along the way.

New faces are always a highlight and seeing the way the older ones have stepped up yet again has been fantastic. So has seeing the young people's endless potentials as they rise to the challenges.

The high ropes challenge was especially amazing to witness with the young people who have been pushing themselves each time to their individual comfort level.

To see this journey from just a few steps up a few months ago to some now successfully mastering the challenge was fantastic to see and a very proud moment for us. Well done to each of you for continuing to challenge yourselves.

This week saw the first lick of paint hit the mural after a fantastic morning with Kyle from Creative Sparks Projects .
Thanks lads, for your efforts in starting to bring this mural (designed by you) to life

This was also a special day as two of our newest young ones were presented with their yellow t-shirts and welcomed into the flock. We love the energy you bring lads, and we know that you will also become great mentors one day.

At the other end of the spectrum, we had two of our older greens continue to build their skills and they’re now well on their way to blue.

And finally, two of our "blues" signed their Mountain Track work contracts this week. Congratulations men and welcome to the taxpaying workforce.
