Women in Engineering at Edith Cowan University - Wieecu

Women in Engineering at Edith Cowan University (WIEECU) is a student run group for the support and development of female students in nontraditional fields of study science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM). WIEECU was formed to promote the study engineering to female students, in the hope that with support we can improve the number of students in attendance across the first two years. Our

main objectives are:
- To organize events and activities to encourage science based students to meet, teach and support each other
- Learn to represent themselves as female role models to future students
- Connecting with various organizations, to seek mentor ship and job opportunities
- To provide a safe and friendly environment for discussion

By attending our events and activities, students can develop and learn valuable communication skills, make connections, voice opinions and further their future professional careers.
