Enactus Edith Cowan University

Enactus Edith Cowan University Implementing academic skills to engage, develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships. The Enactus ECU team is a small but driven team.

Enactus is an international organisation with well over 1000 teams involved. These teams are encouraged to think outside the box and create projects which help causes in need. These projects should empower communities, be sustainable and environmentally, socially and economically responsible to ensure they will continue to help in to the future. Our projects have made a big impact, particularly in

our local communities and we are looking forward to expanding our reach. We currently have two successful projects being implemented and are in the development stages of a third project. These projects are supported by our Business Advisory Board and strategic partners, which has helped our team with invaluable advice and networks. Enactus ECU Mission
To implement the knowledge and entrepreneurial skills gained in our academic studies to engage, develop and empower our communities. Enactus ECU Vision
β€’ To create positive outcomes in our communities through mutually beneficial partnerships.
β€’ To further develop the relationships with our current partners and identify new organisations to work with.
β€’ To explore new technologies and solutions to benefit project participants.
β€’ To enhance the employability of ECU Enactus through our business network. We have potential to have a bigger influence in helping causes in need and are currently seeking like-minded individuals to help us work towards this goal. If you are interested, please head to our Join page and get in contact with us.

Another successful Be Safe event was delivered yesterday by the Enactus ECU team.

72 international students from Japan had the chance to attend a session at the Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club, where they were taught about beach safety.

This event promotes beach safety education and raising awareness about the risks associated with swimming at Australian beaches. By providing international students with the knowledge and skills they need to stay safe in the water, the aim is to prevent tragic accidents and save lives.

We are hoping our world leaders who are meeting next week at the United Nations General Assembly will do the same. They will seek solutions to some of the main challenges facing humanity. However, the world will need all of us! πŸ‘¬πŸ‘«
