Nat Inspires at Kinglake 💙✨

Proud Freestyler Natalie Hood lit up the Kinglake Youth Showcase, inspiring community members with her passion for empowering young people.

As District 9790’s Youth Chair — and a true expert in Rotary Youth opportunities — Nat shared the life changing possibilities that open up when young people step into another culture, another family, another way of seeing the world.

Her message landed with clarity and heart: when we invest in youth, we invest in our future.

A huge congratulations to the Rotary Club of Kinglake Ranges for their vision and leadership in bringing the Youth Showcase to life. Imagining what becomes possible when schools, clubs, families, community groups, Council and Rotary work together takes courage — and Kinglake showed exactly that.

Freestylers out in the community, lifting youth and lighting the way. 💛💙

We love seeing what our members are up to in the community.

Chris Pidd, a proud Freestyler, is a driving force behind BYTESized Productions and their upcoming junior musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jnr, hitting the Albury Entertainment Centre from 19–20 June.

Packed with catchy songs, colourful characters and plenty of laugh out loud moments, this joyful production brings a beloved classic to life with heart, imagination and high flying fun. It’s the kind of show that reminds you why youth theatre matters.

There are only a handful of seats left for opening night on 19 June — so if you want to be part of the magic, now’s the time.
Book through the Albury Entertainment Centre.

Freestylers out in the community, creating joy. We love to see it. 💛💙

What’s missing from this photo?

Another blood or plasma donor to enjoy the post-donation snacks with.

Freestylers member Josh donated plasma today through the Freestylers Lifeblood Team, and it’s a good reminder that this is one of those simple service things that doesn’t have to be done solo.

Already donate blood or plasma? Thinking about giving it a go? You’re welcome to join the Freestylers Lifeblood Team, or message us if you’d rather make your next donation a social one.

Coffee after donation is optional, but strongly encouraged. 🩸

We're $10 short of 50%. 😄

The Freestylers Push-Up Challenge team has now completed 3,076 push-ups and raised $490 towards our $1,000 goal for mental health.

We're wondering whether there's a kind person out there willing to donate the final $10 and push the team over the halfway mark?

Either way, we'll keep doing the push-ups.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far.

🩸 We’re proud to be part of Australia’s blood and plasma donor community.

This week is National Blood Donor Week — a time to celebrate the incredible generosity of donors across the country and to highlight the ongoing need for blood and plasma.

There are so many reasons people choose to donate:
💬 “I can share my good health and actually save lives.” — Carol
💬 “To honour and remember my wife.” — Ian
💬 “It’s the closest I’ll come to saving a life.” — Jarrod

Every donation has a story behind it — and every donation helps someone in need.

Nothing like a few push-ups to warm up for a Freestylers meeting. 💪

Stephen, Carol and Josh are part of the Rotary Freestylers team taking on The Push-Up Challenge for mental health.

We’re already nearly 20% of the way to our $1,000 team goal, and donations from 10am tomorrow will be matched dollar for dollar while match funds last.

Every push-up helps start a conversation. Every donation helps push it further.

The room knew what to do with this one 🎶

We’ve added the June PUBlic Choir video of We Will Rock You to the Freestylers website, with plenty of stomping, clapping and singing from the crowd at Soden’s.

Curious about Freestylers? Come and meet us this Tuesday.

If you’ve seen Freestylers around the community through PUBlic Choir, Plalkin’, safeTALK or other local activities, and wondered what we’re about, we’d love you to come and say hello.

We’re meeting in The Birdcage room at Soden’s Hotel on Tuesday 9 June. Our official club meeting starts at 5:30pm, but from 6:30pm we’ll be hanging around for an informal get-to-know-us chat.

No pressure and no formal presentation. Just a chance to meet a few members, ask questions, and see whether Freestylers might be your kind of way to volunteer.

Around 150 people, four songs, a few Happy Birthdays, and plenty of voices joining in 🎶

We’ve shared a few photos here, with the full story and more moments from the night now up on the Freestylers website.

Tuesday night at Soden’s got loud again 🎶

One room, four songs, a few Happy Birthdays, and around 150 people singing together.

Chris led the night solo again, the maracas made another appearance, and two $50 Soden’s meal vouchers were raffled thanks to Soden’s generous support.

PUBlic Choir is one of the ways Freestylers brings people together for a relaxed, low-pressure community night.

Thank you to everyone for making it a great night.
