Live-In Au Pair / Nanny Opportunity – Tamarama, Sydney
We are seeking a warm, proactive, and experienced live-in au pair to join this family and help care for his delightful two-year-old son, Harvey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to become part of a supportive family environment while enjoying a wonderful beachside lifestyle in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
About the Family
Harvey is a happy, energetic, and affectionate little boy who loves spending time outdoors. Whether it's trips to the park, beach adventures, swimming lessons, playgroups, or visits to the zoo, he thrives on staying active and exploring the world around him. Josh is a business owner who has successfully hosted several au pairs in the past and is committed to creating a respectful, welcoming, and communicative home environment where his au pair feels comfortable, valued, and supported. This family offers a relaxed, respectful, and communicative environment. Harvey is surrounded by a loving support network, including his grandmother and extended family, who are actively involved in his life. The successful candidate will be welcomed into a warm home where open communication and mutual respect are highly valued.
Role responsibilities
• Assisting with daycare pick-ups and drop-offs
• Planning and facilitating engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Taking Harvey to outings including parks, beaches, libraries, swimming lessons, playgroups, and other developmental activities
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks
• Supporting daily routines and general care
• Shopping for Harvey's needs as required
Household Support
• Maintaining tidy shared living spaces
• Laundry and household organisation
• Grocery shopping and unpacking
• Ordering household supplies when required
• Light cleaning and general household upkeep
• Keeping Harvey's bedroom, toys, and play areas organised
