Wildlifesavers Australia

Wildlifesavers Australia Thousands of Australia's wildlife get killed on the road, daily. A simple system that warns the animals about approaching traffic and saves their life.

Our aim is to increase awareness of the need that wildlife in Australia is under threat. It’s a worldwide problem, but most concerning is that Australia is leading the list of countries with the highest level of deforestation. Not only does this have a huge impact on the wildlife, but while habitats of flora and fauna disappear at a rate that 70% of all wildlife and flora is at the brink of extinc

tion. Our newest project is that we want to buy bushland that we keep away from any form of development or forestry. Our aim is to create pieces of habitat free from human interaction. If you know such a place that’s worth being part of this project, let us know. Donations are welcome. Gifts (like land) accepted gratefully in the name of all animals.

Nothing about wildlife but about the meat industry. Here some figures from our country alone. With 27 million people (suppose all eat meat) it doesn't add up. Seafood not included. How much meat is this per inhabitant? What number represents “some” in “some of the slaughtering”? What will be the numbers worldwide? Must be in the billions. (m)eat less, please! This industry is a major factor in deforestation, a major contributor to environmental pollution (greenhouse gases) all impacting the habitats of wildlife and flora. And last-but-not-least ours.
