Did you know that the Jervois brigade is an Airops brigade?
Yesterday we had our training for Airops which means we fill planes with water and foam or gel before they head off to major fires where they will dump the load and then come back for another fill. It takes about 3 mins from landing to take off for us to fill a plane. We load multiple planes for as long as they are needed on the fire ground.
