IAPSS Oceania
Oceania is a vast territory, and one of the most geographically isolated regions in the world. IAPSS Oceania aims to create greater interconnectivity between political science students in Oceania and Universities, and political science students and Universities in our region with other regions, and European political science students and Universities in particular. Thus, the Oceania chapter will provide greater opportunities for political science students in our region, creating a pathway for research projects and grant opportunities for young emerging scholars. Grants and funding will provide young researchers and their respective academic institutions a platform for conferences and events interconnecting political science students in Oceania with other IAPSS regional chapters, and particularly with political science students and academics based in Europe. The Oceania Chapter understands that student’s organisations and outreach programs in our region have become increasingly focused in Asia and that there is a growing need to expand student interchange programs, research projects and research cooperation with other regions, and with European based students and academics.
