Jarrahdale Heritage "We're committed to the preservation of Jarrahdale's natural and man-made heritage." The word "heritage" has a far broader definition than the word "history".

It allows us to include the forest as well as the town and of course the Museum.

Welcome back to the Old Post Office Museum today was Louise Young and her friend Natalie Corrick. They flew in from Eastern States but just had to visit Jarrahdale. Louise's family came from Jarrahdale and the family over time have kindly donated family documents, photos and family trivia including a nightie and a baby bonnet. So much local knowledge which adds to the history of the township. Safe travels ladies.

Thank you to all our wonderful helpers on the day. Vicky, Karen, Di, Judy, Sue, Lorraine, Rosemary, Bernie and a big thank you to Tahlia who dragged her daughter along and Wade to help with the BBQ. So lovely to see Jan Star and Kathy Winmar too. Big thanks also to Lisa Ingram who helped out with signs and a banner. And also Ron Ianello for allowing parking for our visitors on his land. Jarrahdale Primary School years 4, 5 and 6 Art Competition are on display at the Old Post Office Museum. Pop in and look at the talent of these young artists. The theme 'Community Connections'. Fantastic work. The winners will be announced at the beginning of the new term. Enjoy the holidays everyone. Don't forget to mark your calendars for Sunday 7th from Midday when NAIDOC event starts.
