Sutherland Shire Toy Restoration Centre The toy shop is staffed by unpaid, retired, volunteers, practicing their skills by restoring toys. Visit our store to see what we have available.

Moneys raised go towards donations to local Women & children's charities. We are also open on the First and Third Saturday of each month, 8.30am to 1.30pm. The shop was founded by retired Sutherland shire worker Ted Brooker in 1975 and joined by Dot Hopwood, Repairing and recycling of toys by senior members of the community, for distribution to needy families in the Shire. We still do this whilst

providing a social activity for retired people. Donations of old toys in reasonable condition are gratefully accepted. Monies raised from sales of renovated donations and restoration work is regularly donated to women's and children's charities in the area.

This amazing 3D wooden locomotive kit has just come in to our shop. It is brand new, still in it's sealed bag. This model includes a spring and parts to give clockwork movement, and will make a fantastic addition to any keen model makers collection. The photo shows the fine detail in the wooden parts sheets.
