📣📣 CHARITY AUCTION UPDATE 📣📣

‘Christmas came early’ were the words that sprang to mind when we dropped in to the Taralga Retirement Village to catch up with the staff and residents trying out their new gym equipment purchased with the proceeds from our charity auction. Staff members Donna Tanner, Candice Traves and Physio, Annie Cusack, had their work cut out trying to slow down some very enthusiastic clients keen to ‘get on with it’. With an age range of 90-99 in this bunch, there was much banter about who was going to use what – treadmill, exercise bike, pedal exercisers or aerobic steps. All this mixed with the occasional ‘where’s the grease gun’ comment, the excitement of new toys was quite infectious. With the addition of Tens Machines for pain relief and a specialty ‘Low-Low’ Adjustable Bed for safety the funds have covered a variety of needs at Taralga. We’re glad we could help. With a massive $7,550 raised we would like to say a big thank you, on behalf of Taralga and our committee, to all our wonderful charity auction stallion owners & sponsors, and to everyone who chipped in and put their hands up, you are amazing and supported a worthy cause. We hope you all had a great weekend, see you next year.

Congratulations to the O'Toole Transport Open Campdraft Winner Bobby-Jo Tattam on fantastic 3 Rounds of drafting, it was fantastic to watch. Thankyou Seifert Belmont Reds for a beautiful line of heifers for the Open Campdraft and Maiden For Maiden Final.

⭐️ ATTENTION COMPETITORS ⭐️
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

💥 The Helismart Novice Campdraft will now commence at 6:00AM on Friday morning.

💥 Canteen will be available from Lunch on Friday, so pack breaky for Friday Morning if planning to stay Thursday Night.

💥 There is a NEW Entrance Point into the Camping Area please take note of the map.

💥 Water Points and Taps are located throughout the camping area thanks to the new water improvements please see map attached. Look for the white poles when parking taps are located here. There is a large area available for camping inside the race track as shown on the map.

💥 A Reminder, please do not drive or ride horses on the racetrack and don’t tie horses to the running rails.

💥 A Calcutta will be held on Saturday Night on the competitors in the Maiden for Maiden Final. The Charity Auction will also be held following the Calcutta. Dig deep to support the local Taralaga Retirement Village.

💥Eftpos is available

💥 GoodFriday Dinner will be available on Friday evening. The bar will be operating for those enjoying the meal.
