The Jamieson Autumn Festival Committee is a subcommittee of the Jamieson Community Group. The very first Autumn Festival was held in 2014 and organised by Chris, Freddie, and Peter. Since then, the event has continued to grow year after year (with the exception of a three-year break), bringing together locals and visitors alike. What continues to amaze us most is how many volunteers roll up their sleeves each year to make the Jamieson Autumn Festival the wonderful event it is today. It truly is a community event, made by the community. 🍁 Big thanks to the committee who put together the 2025 event Saskia, Karen, Nick, Janet and Fränzi, and all the many volunteers who made it possible!

Jamieson Autumn Festival – Community Event of the Year Nomination!

The Jamieson Autumn Festival has been nominated for Community Event of the Year at the 2026 Australia Day Awards! The awards will be presented by Mansfield Shire Council on Australia Day, 26 January, at 8.30am at the Mansfield Botanic Park.

It is a true honour for everyone involved to receive this nomination. What makes it even more special is that the Jamieson Autumn Festival is carried by so many incredible volunteers. It is, at its heart, a true community event — from the community, for the community.

Each year, the festival brings people together, creating moments of joy, laughter, connection, and celebration in our beautiful town of Jamieson. This nomination belongs to every volunteer, musician, stallholder, sponsor, and community member who helps make it so special.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Jamieson Autumn Festival. 💛🍂

The State Government's rushed planning reform Bill removes notification for standalone homes, duplexes, townhouses, and low-rise apartments.

You won't have an automatic right to be informed about proposals in our community.

Local knowledge catches errors that centralised processes miss. The fence not on the plans. The site that floods every winter. The access route that doesn't work.

When you eliminate this quality control mechanism while demanding 10-day approvals, mistakes get locked in. Mistakes that will be there for generations.

Sign Mansfield Shire Council's petition against planning reforms by either downloading a copy from our website https://www.mansfield.vic.gov.au/Advocacy, or by signing in person at one of the following locations:

✍Mansfield Shire Council Municipal Office – 33 Highett Street, Mansfield
✍Mansfield Library Victoria – 2 Collopy Street, Mansfield
✍Visitor Information Centre – 175 High Street, Mansfield
